New wireless headphones Google prompt the way, search for the information you need on the Internet and translate a foreign speech at the time of the conversation. The Russian language, however, does not yet support this device.
At the presentation of Google, held on October 4 in San Francisco, the company introduced a series of new devices. Among them are wireless headphones Pixel Buds, which allow you to translate a speech from a foreign language in real time.
The headphones are connected to the Pixel smartphone with the voice assistant Google Assistant. The assistant recognizes foreign speech and dictates the translation into the headphones. His speech can also be translated using a smartphone, dictating to him the answer.
As a demonstration of the possibilities of Pixel Buds, Google employees arranged a dialogue: one spoke in English, the other answered it in Swedish.
While the device supports 40 languages, there is no Russian in this list.
Wireless headphones allow you to control music with a light touch of the hand: play and switch tracks, adjust the volume.
Assistant Google Assistant can prompt the way, search the Internet and manage calls, too, without using a smartphone.
According to Google, in the US headphones Pixel Buds will go on sale in November. Their starting price is 159 dollars.
What else did Google present?
In addition to headphones, at the presentation in San Francisco, the company showed an updated Pixel smartphone, its own Pixelbook, mini-camera, music column and a smaller version of Google Home's home assistant.
The second generation of Google smartphones is presented in two sizes. The devices have an improved camera, with the help of a specially designed sensor it quickly focuses on the object in the foreground, making the image more clear.
An intelligent camera recognizes visual objects and inscriptions, for example, sights, book covers, phone numbers, and searches for information about them on the network.
The smartphone automatically recognizes melodies and songs without using additional programs like the popular audio scout Shazam.
In addition, the company has updated the home assistant Google Home. The column has the same functions as before: it controls a smart house, a personal calendar, searches on the Internet. But it is released in a more compact package.
Another new Google - 12-megapixel camera Google Clips. She is able to recognize familiar faces and make photos and videos on her own, without the participation of a person. The camera does not have dynamics for privacy reasons.
